Unfold is a Mac app developed by flew. Installing or using it means you accept these terms.
If you do not agree to them, do not install the app. Throughout, “Unfold” means the app, its Quick Look extension, and any updates we release.
What we store in order to license the app is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Buying Unfold grants a license to use it. It is not a sale of the software.
You may install and run Unfold on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial use. A direct license covers up to 3 devices, and deactivating a device frees its slot. Mac App Store copies are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
The direct download includes a 7 day free trial. The Mac App Store version does not.
Polar is our merchant of record for direct purchases and handles payment and any applicable taxes. We issue your license key and send it from a flew.gg address. The key identifies your purchase and must not be shared.
Direct purchases are final and non-refundable. The trial is provided so you can evaluate the app before buying. Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's refund process.
Your license covers use of the app. It does not permit you to:
flew retains all rights to Unfold, including its code, design, and name. Your license transfers none of them.
Unfold is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We do not warrant that the app will be error free or that it will preview any particular file correctly. Unfold builds on macOS Quick Look, which Apple may change at any time.
So far as the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Any liability we do have is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
Your license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may revise these terms as the app changes, and the effective date above will be updated when we do.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If any part of them is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
